Questions and answers
Is this the official Life in the UK Test?
No. It’s an independent practice site made by ChowChow Labs. It isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Government or the Home Office, and our questions are not official test questions. Study the official handbook too.
What is the real test like?
It has 24 questions and you have 45 minutes. You need 75% or more (18 correct answers) to pass. Most questions have one right answer; some ask you to choose two. The questions are based on the official handbook, Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents.
How are “choose two” questions scored?
Like the real test, you need both answers right to get the mark. There’s no half mark for one right answer, and unanswered questions score zero.
What’s free?
Mock Exams 1–7 are free, with ads. You don’t need an account to try them. Sign up free (email, Google or Apple) to save your results and flags and see every answer explained after each exam.
How does Premium work?
Premium is £2.99 a month, or £9.99 once for lifetime Premium (no renewals, active for as long as the site operates). Both unlock Mock Exams 8–20 (all 480 questions), your full statistics, no ads, and retrying missed and flagged questions. You can cancel the monthly plan any time and keep Premium until the end of the month you paid for.
